About Us

Who's who?

All the doctors are specialist General Practitioners who have completed or are training towards a fellowship through the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners or the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine. Our core team of doctors live in the area and all spend time in the great outdoors pursuing various sports and activities.

We will tell you some more about Lara soon... still investigating.

Sophie Mayall

Sophie completed her nursing in Ballarat, and if it wasn't for doing a Masters of Health Promotion at Deakin Uni, we're sure she would've ended up in South Australia.

Commitment to learning

Anglesea Medical is a fully accredited General Practice and works with Deakin University to provide placements for medical and nursing students. Through the regional training provider MCCC, we provide training to GP Registrars from time to time. We particpated in the John Flynn Placement Program that provided medical students experience in working in a rural location, but unfortunately has been defunded from 2021.

Providing comprehensive compassionate General Practice services to Anglesea and the Surf Coast
